Check the outside casing of the battery for cracks. Keep the top of your motorcycle battery and the metal connections clean and dry. Check the connections to the battery for if it has a loose or corroded connection, if it is corroded with a white paste, it can be removed with hot water and then smeared with Vaseline to protect the terminal. Examine the screw tops and make sure they are a good tight fit.

Measure the voltage with voltmeter and replace the battery if the voltage is clearly lower than 12 volts. If the electrolyte in the battery is low then you should top it up with distilled water. If you use the clear water to clean the battery, you should immediately dry the surface after cleaning. Don’t let the water into the interior of battery.
Keep the outer region of “lead acid battery pack” ventilated, clean and dry.
